We are looking for part time kitchen assistant to work Fri and Saturday (possibly Sunday too!) from 9am until 6/7pm, to join our pub team, The Lamb & Flag in Wick! You must be a team player, ambitious and highly motivated.
Applicants must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and possibly to start early mornings if needed.
We are looking for outgoing, friendly and committed people who are willing to learn and for a career in hospitality.
Daily duties
- Washing, peeling and preparing food ingredients
- Reviewing kitchen inventory and determining what items are needed
- Unloading fresh supplies and organising the stockroom
- Checking sell-by dates and rotating food stock
- Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes and pans
- Observing cooking times and correct temperatures
- Plating up
